INFUZE – A Quality Improvement Program in Infusion Therapy

In 2019 INS – India in collaboration with 3M India as a technical guidance partner proudly announced a new quality improvement program ‘INFUZE’

INFUZE is aimed at improving compliance to the best practices in infusion therapy. Through INFUZE, INS- India is setting up various forums with industry experts for assessments & audits, technical committee with nurse leader experts and an advisory panel of critical care clinicians.

INFUZE aims to

• Standardize and implement national intravenous policy and procedure.
• Support healthcare institutions to adopt best practices and comply to guidelines.
• Audit & Measure the compliance by recognized and reputed auditors from INS India.
• Reward and recognition of the best adopter(s).

10 hospitals were enrolled in 2019-20 and have successfully implemented the Infusion Standards of Practice in their facilities. There are already 15 institutions who have enrolled for the 2021-22 program, which includes premier institutions and chain of hospitals.
